Audio Troubleshooting Key For Windows Users: Record Using Windows Sound Recorder:

Are You Able To Record Using Windows Sound Recorder?

To open Sound Recorder:

1. Select Windows Start button in the lower left hand corner
2. Select All Programs
3. Select Accessories
4. Select Entertainment
5. Select Sound Recorder

To use Sound Recorder, you must have a sound card and speakers installed on your computer. If you want to record sound, you also need a microphone. For information about using Sound Recorder, click the Help menu in Sound Recorder.

To record a sound:

1. Make sure you have a microphone connected to your computer
2. On the File menu, click New
3. To begin recording, click Record
4. To stop recording, click Stop
